The Blanks - Underdog Lyrics
For the Mutt of Might is hereSecret ring he has filledWith a super energy pillTrouble calls, he's not slowIt's hip, hip, hip and away he goesWhen criminals in this world appearAnd break the laws that they should fearAnd frighten all who see or hearThe cry goes up, both far and nearFor Underdog, UnderdogUnderdog, UnderdogSpeed of lightning, roar of thunderFighting all who rob or plunderUnderdog, Underdog, UnderdogWhen Polly Purebred starts to fallFrom buildings twenty stories tallShe knows the hero she can callHis ears prick up when Polly hollersUnderdog, UnderdogUnderdog, UnderdogThere's no need to fear or quaverUnderdog is here to save herUnderdog, oh, UnderdogAnd when our woeful monologueIs how by evil we've been floggedThen breaking through the clouds and fogNot plane, nor bird, nor even frogComes Underdog, UnderdogUnderdog, UnderdogNow unleash the Dog of WonderTearing evil's bonds asunderUnderdogOh, what a wonder dogNow here's the epilogueUnderdog, Underdog
