Rich Mullins - Pictures In The Sky Lyrics
Lord Jesus You are the OneWho made the heavensAnd You'll take me there somedayBut 'til that time they'll hang aroundTo say that You love meAnd down here on earthIt's hard to keep in mindWhen the days are hazyThe sun still shinesBut if my head's in the cloudsIt suits me just fine'Cause they're what's above meAnd there the world unfoldsRight before meWith whispers of hopeAnd shouts of gloryI like to see the picturesWay up in the skyIt looks like moving picturesWhen the clouds go byI like to see the picturesWay up in the skyIt looks like moving picturesWhen the clouds go by (by, by, by)Lord Jesus You are the OneWho sends the cloudsThat roll alongOn the crest of the windI look up I see in them Your powerSee the vapor trailReddened in the setting sunIt's like a heavenly blessingOn a trail of crumbsSee the light beam burning brightShining like a rungOn Jacob's ladderAnd there the world unfoldsRight before meWith whispers of hopeAnd shouts of gloryI like to see the picturesWay up in the skyIt looks like moving picturesWhen the clouds go byI like to see the picturesWay up in the skyIt looks like moving picturesWhen the clouds go by (by, by, by)When the clouds go byAnd there the world unfoldsRight before meWith whispers of hopeAnd shouts of gloryI like to see the picturesWay up in the skyIt looks like moving picturesWhen the clouds go byI like to see the picturesWay up in the sky -
