Petra - Creed Lyrics
I believe in God the Father - maker of heaven and earthand in Jesus Christ His only SonI believe in the virgin birthI believe in the Man of Sorrows bruised for iniquitiesI believe in the Lamb who was crucified and hung between two thievesI believe in the resurrection on the third and glorious dayand I believe in the empty tomb and the stone that the angel rolled awayHe descended and set the captives freeand now He sits at God's right hand and prepares a place for meCHORUSthis is my creed - the witness I have heardthe faith that has enduredthis truth is assuredthrough the darkest ages pastthough persecuted, it will lastand I will hold steadfast to this creedI believe He sent His Spirit to comfort and to revealto lead us into the truth and light, to baptize and to sealI believe that He will come back the way He went awayand receive us all unto Himself, but no man knows the dayChorusI believe He is the Judge of all men, small and greatthe resurrected souls of men receive from Him their fatesome to death and some to life, some to their rewardsome to sing eternal praise forever to our LordChorus===
