Girls Aloud - Sound Of The Underground Lyrics
Disco dancing with the lights down lowBeats are pumping on the stereoNeighbours banging on the bathroom wallYour sayin' crank the bassI gotta get some moreWaters runnin' in the wrong directionGot a feelin' its a mixed up signI can see it in my own reflectionSummit funnies goin' on inside my mindDon't know what its pushin' me higherIts the static from the floor belowThen its drops and catches like a fireIts a sound I, Its a sound I knowIt's the sound of the undergroundThe beat of the drum goes round and aroundIn to the overflowWhere the girls get down to the sound of the radioOut to the electric nightWhere the bass line jumps in the backstreet lightsThe beat goes around and roundIts the sound of the underSound of the undergroundChain reaction running through my veinsPumps the bass line up into my brainScrews my mind until I lose controlAnd when the building rocks I know Its got my soulWaters runnin' in the wrong directionGot a feelin' its a mixed up signI can see it in my own reflectionSummit funnies goin' on inside my mindDon't know what its pushin' me higherIts the static from the floor belowThen its drops and catches like a fireIts a sound I, Its a sound I knowIt's the sound of the undergroundThe beat of the drum goes round and aroundIn to the overflowWhere the girls get down to the sound of the radioOut to the electric nightWhere the bass line jumps in the backstreet lightsThe beat goes around and roundIts the sound of the underSound of the undergroundI don't know what it's pushin' me higherIt's the static from the floor belowAnd then it drops and catches like fireIts a sound I, Its a sound IIts a sound I, Its a sound I knowIt's the sound of the undergroundThe beat of the drum goes round and aroundIn to the overflowWhere the girls get down to the sound of the radioOut to the electric nightWhere the bass line jumps in the backstreet lightsThe beat goes around and roundIts the sound of the underSound of the undergroundThe bass line jumps in the backstreet lightIt's the sound of the underSound of the undergroundThe bass line jumps in the backstreet lightIt's the sound of the underSound of the underground
