Fifteen - Colorado Lyrics
Got the news from ColoradoAbout a couple of kidsWho went to school and tried to kill everyoneThey said they did it just for kicksI saw the president on the T.V.He said we really gotta do somethin about thisHe said we gotta end this culture of violenceAnd he went on to explain why we need toDrop bombs on all the Serbian kidsMaybe it's too many burgersMaybe it's too much beerMaybe it's in the waterMaybe it's in the fearMaybe it's too much pollutionMaybe we are just dumbBut it really seems to me thatAmericans are stupidWe'll fall for anything and everythingThe only thing worse than a stupid AmericanIs someone who actually gets itAnd decides to do nothin'Saw the news from HavannahOf the economic embargoIt started 39 years agoThey said it would get rid of Fidel CastroI saw Jesse Helms on the T.V.He said it just needs more timeIf we deny the people of Cuba food and medicineThen everything will work out just fineMaybe it's too many burgersMaybe it's too much beerMaybe it's in the waterMaybe it's in the fearMaybe it's too much pollutionMaybe we are just dumbBut it really seems to me thatAmericans are stupidWe'll fall for anything and everythingThe only thing worse than a stupid AmericanIs someone who actually gets itAnd decides to do nothin'We believeThat if we have beliefsThen we don't gotta do nothin'We believeThat it we have beliefsSomehow they will magically change everythingWe believeThat if we have beliefsSomeday everyone will realize that they were wrongWe believeThat if we have beliefsWe don't gotta do nothin', nothin', nothin'
