Eric Carmen - Rose Coloured Glasses Lyrics
(scott mccarl)Im an ivory tower boyNever quite put down the toysI always think the best of them allI see only sunny skiesWith the wool over my eyesI never seem to find the crack or the faultI see it all through rose coloured glassesAnd I only see what matters to meI see you all through rose coloured classes, yeahThe road that I chose is coloured roseIts a funny sort of hazeAll full of dreams of yesterdaysAnd the dreams are so real you could cryAnd you know the grass is greenOn the side youve never seenAnd the thought is what helps you get byI see it all through rose coloured glassesAnd I only see what matters to meI see you all through rose coloured classes, yeahThe road that I chose is coloured roseAs I grow a little moreWonder what this all is forAnd the brass ring is slipping awayI would keep the glasses nearAnd would shed a quiet tearAnd maybe smile inside as I sayI see it all through rose coloured glassesAnd I only see what matters to meI see you all through rose coloured classes, yeahThe road that I chose is coloured...
