Eric Carmen - Last Night Lyrics
(eric carmen)I think Ill stay at home tonightJust play some recordsAnd catch up on some sleepSometimes I like to be aloneIve been so busyMaybe someone will drop byLast night when I went to bedI was lonelyLast night when I went to bedI was so blueBut thats the last nightYeah, thats the last nightWell, thats the last nightIm gonna lose any sleep over youI waited for the phone to ringAnd when it didntI turned on the carson showI lit another cigaretteAnd dialed your numberBut there was no one at homeLast night when I went to bedI was lonelyLast night when I went to bedI was so blueBut thats the last nightYeah, thats the last nightWell, thats the last nightIm gonna lose any sleep over youI walked across the streetTo the drugstore and I bought a magazineThen I came back homeAnd read it throughLast night when I went to bedI was lonelyLast night when I went to bedI was so blueBut thats the last nightYeah, thats the last nightWell, thats the last nightIm gonna lose any sleep over youI think Ill stay at home tonightJust play some recordsAnd catch up on some sleep
