David Lee Murphy - Dust On The Bottle Lyrics
(david lee murphy/jimbeau hinson)Creole williams lived down a dirt roadMade homemade wine like nobody I knowDropped by one friday night and said can you help me creoleGot a little girl waitin on me and I wanna treat her rightI got what you need son, its sittin down in the cellarHe reached through the cobwebs as he turned on the light and saidThere might be a little dust on the bottleBut dont let it fool ya about whats insideThere might be a little dust on the bottleIts one of those things that gets sweeter with timeShe was sittin in the porch swing as I pulled up the drivewayMy ole heart was racing as she climbed insideShe slid over real close and drove down to the lake roadWatched the sun fade in that big red skyI reached under the front seat and said, now heres something specialIts just been waiting for a night like tonightThere might be a little dust on the bottleBut dont let it fool ya about whats insideThere might be a little dust on the bottleIts one of those things that gets sweeter with timeYoure still with me, and weve made some memoriesAfter all these years theres one thing Ive foundSome say good love, well its like a fine wineIt keeps getting better as the days go byThere might be a little dust on the bottleBut dont let it fool ya about whats insideThere might be a little dust on the bottleIts one of those things that gets sweeter with time
