Crystal Eyes - The Dragon's Lair Lyrics
Way up north where the eagles sore, beneath a mountain, whitin its coreThere's a treasure, you've been told, lakes of silver and hills of goldBut the stories they also toldabout the dragon who killed the boldwho dare to enter his dark domainsto steal his treasure, they died in flames![Pre-Chorus]Into the darkness you goDefying the dangers aheadIn search for silver and goldDriven by greed[Chorus]Upon his treasure lies the creature rareA sleeping beast of fire and airWell, enter thief now if you dareYes enter fool! the dragon's lairDown in the dungeons you make your wayIn total darkness, is it night or day?Slowly sneaking on soundless feet, moving towards the increasing heatThe smell of sulphur, the gragon's near, but so is the treasure so don't feel fearThe call of gold you just can't denyIn death awaits: well, you have to try[Pre-Chorus][Chorus][Bridge:]Shining silver and glittering goldIt's beyond your wildest dreamsand you steal with eyes that gleamsBut the sound of ringing goldwakes the beast of stories toldThe rattling coins seal your fateWith a single glance into his CRYSTAL EYES,your greedy soul is lost, turned to ice![Solo: Nyberg - Dahl][Pre- Chorus][Chorus]
